Soft, floral, and honeyed — bottled sunshine from the happiest tree in the yard.
Our Mimosa Elixir is made from the silk-pink blossoms of the mimosa tree, steeped in brandy and sweetened with raw honey. The taste is delicate and floral, like the flowers themselves — nothing sharp, nothing heavy.
The Tree of Happiness
Mimosa (Albizia julibrissin) has been loved by herbalists for a very long time. In Chinese herbal tradition it is known as He Huan — roughly, "collective happiness" — and for centuries the bark and blossoms have been gathered for the heart: for grief and heartache, for restless, frazzled days, for the heavy feeling that settles in and won't lift, and for nights when sleep feels far away.
Western herbalists have taken it to heart for the same reasons — it's the ally they reach for in life's heavy seasons, when everything feels like a bit much and you could use something soft around the edges. Even the tree itself seems to know it: those pink blossoms open like little fireworks, and the leaves fold themselves closed at night to rest.
I can't promise you happiness in a bottle — but I can tell you this is the elixir I reach for on the hard days, and it tastes like a deep breath.
